During his stay in Vienna, Oleksandr focused on the investigation of superconductivity, 3D magnetic nanostructures, and the merging of superconductivity with magnonics. He has supervised three PhD students, Barbora Budinská, Sebastian Lamb-Camarena and Clemens Schmid, as well as several Master's and Bachelor’s students. Oleksandr’s dedication and successful work were instrumental in obtaining two international FWF projects as well as involving the Faculty of Physics in three Actions of the European Cooperation in Science and Technology.
Oleksandr’s tenure at NanoMag was marked by significant scientific contributions, evidenced by more than 40 articles, including monographs and reviews, with him being the lead or last author in over 20 publications. He has been actively serving the academic community and has established a wide network of collaborators.
We thank Oleksandr for the fantastic years we spent together in Vienna and congratulate him on the new appointment. We wish Oleksandr all the best at the TU Braunschweig!
