Talk by Prof. Lozovski at the NanoMag

11.03.2022

Prof. Valeri Lozovski will present his talk “Nanomedicine from Physical Point of View. Nonfunctionalized nanoparticles in antiviral therapy” on Monday, March 21st.

Prof. Lozovski will present some of his research to students and scientists. He will discuss about nanomedicine from a physical point of view, proposing a mechanism of antiviral activity of non-functionalized nanoparticles does not strongly depend on the material from which the nanoparticle is made.

Prof. Valeri Lozovski received his Ms. Degree in 1978, Ph.D. in 1985, and Dr.of Sci. in 1994. He is Professor of the Institute of High Technologies of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Kyiv, Ukraine) and Head of the Department of Theoretical Foundations of High Technologies. His scientific activity touches upon the optical properties of nano-sistems, including the nanocomposite thin films and plasmonics. Last years his scientific activity shifted to nanomedicine, namely studies of antiviral/antimicrobe activity  of nanoparticles and nanostructured surfaces.
