We are happy to congratulate Michael Schneider for his award from the “The Friends of TU Kaiserslautern”, which is granted to excellent doctoral and master theses.
Michael was the only awardee in physics among two master's theses, nine doctoral theses and one post-doctoral thesis, with a prize money of between 500 and 1,000 euros.
The thesis of Dr. Schneider focuses on the employment of spin pumping and spin transfer torque in magnetic dielectrics. Michael’s research was funded by the project ERC StG MagnonCircuits and during his studies he worked under the supervision of Andrii Chumak.
