Masterarbeit Förderstipendium for Andreas Höfinger

26.06.2023

Our Master degree student Andreas Höfinger has been awarded a support grant from the University of Vienna to complete his research

Andreas took the initiative and applied for the Förderstidendium from the University of Vienna, which has given him the unique opportunity to travel to CEITEC (Brno, Czech Rep.) and perform nanofabrication within the scope of his master project. This stipend allows excellent students to perform their research outside of Vienna.

Enitled “High Frequency Antennas for Integrated Quantum Magnonics”, Andreas’ research aims to perform numerical simulation on possible antenna designs for magnon excitation as well as fabricating and experimentally comparing them. His research is part of the novel field of quantum magnonics, playing an important role in the development of novel computing capabilities. The fabrication process takes place in CEITEC’s clean room, an extra-effort that has now been covered by the University’s Förderstipendium.

We congratulate Andreas and wish him a lot of success in his research!
