Congratulations to Dr Sebastian Knauer for award of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship!

11.03.2021

We warmly congratulate our very own Dr Sebastian Knauer for the award of the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship.

Dr Knauer has joined the Nanomagnetism and Magnonics Group in March 2020 and has already established himself as integral and guiding personality in the group. Dr Knauer focuses his efforts on hybrid opto-magnonic quantum systems at ambient and cryogenic temperatures. With his MSCA fellowship “On-chip quantum MagNonIcs” (OMNI), under the guidance of Prof. Andrii Chumak, Dr Knauer will be able to lay the foundations towards this future endeavour. With his outstanding scoring in the research proposal, Dr Knauer ranked under the top-10 MSCA Fellowships at the University of Vienna and securing an additional third year of funding, made available by UniVie. We wish him all the best for the future as MSCA fellow and his career in research!
