Superconductivity and Spintronics Laboratory

SuperSpin lab is a sub-group led by PD Dr. Oleksandr Dobrovolskiy, which is concerned with experimental investigations of nanoscale 2D and 3D hybrid quantum systems exhibiting such cooperative ground states as superconductivity and magnetism. These systems are investigated by integrated-response techniques of electrical resistive and magneto-transport measurements, as well as broadband microwave spectroscopy (<70GHz). As complementary local-probe techniques we apply advanced optical spectroscopy and magneto-optical methods.

Key research directions:
   • Geometry and topology effects in 3D nano-architectures
   • Nanoengineered superconductivity and vortex dynamics
   • Cryogenic magnonics and hybrid nanosystems
