Talk by Igor Golovchanskiy at the NanoMag

17.11.2021

Dr. Igor Golovchanskiy will present his talk “Cavity magnonics: fundamentals and current trends” on Friday, November 19th. The talk will be live-streamed.

Igor Golovchanskiy stay in Vienna will include a visit to our labs and a talk in our seminar. In this talk he will present his group’s recent achievements in cavity magnonics, namely, by achievement of the ultrastrong photon-to-magnon coupling with high single-spin coupling strength using on-chip superconducting microstructures.

Dr. Igor Golovchanskiy is the head of the Cryoelectronic Systems lab at NUST MISiS, and the senior scientist at the lab for Topological Quantum Phenomena in Superconducting Systems, MIPT, Moscow. Dr. Igor Golovchanskiy works on thin film technologies, micro- and nanostructures, atomic and magnetic force microscopy, and cryogenic microwave measurements. His main research interests are in superconducting and magnetic structures and of various coexistence phenomena resulting from the coexistence of superconductivity and magnetism.
